Some notes to help you select your classes

These sessions concern themselves with the "energy body" of yoga. They will highlight yoga's health-giving aspects when viewed from both Eastern and Western perspectives. Classes will range from practical instruction in pranayama (the yoga-breathing techniques) through theorecital discussions on the use and properties of breath, to talks and discussions on nadis, shakti, chakras, kundalini and the like. Some Presenters will discuss the similarities and differences between the Western and yogic approaches to anatomy and physiology, while others will discuss the increasingly acknoweldged health and therapeutic benefits of yoga, meditation, and similar practices. (Sessions will vary from 1 to 2 hrs).
