Class Description:

The neck and shoulders are two commonly stressed and injured parts of the body.  So much of our modern lifestyle - working on computers, driving in cars, carrying purses and backpacks, overall tension and poor posture – contributes to stiffness and soreness in these areas.  Injuries from sports, car accidents and repetitive motions can also be quite painful and distressing.
In this workshop, we will focus on helping to keep the neck and shoulder region supple, strong and healthy.  You will learn how to work with props if necessary and those with injuries can learn methods and modifications for shoulder/neck related asanas and how to help support healing through yoga.
