Class Description:

The first part of class introduces a new prop, "The Back Mitra" as developed by Gert van Leeuwen at the Bharata Yoga Institute in Amsterdam and Brigitte Longueville of Zipolite, Mexico. We will start slow, glacial speed, working from the inside out to relax and open the upper back, neck and shoulders to then allow more vigorous asana and deep backbends with new ease.
