Class Description:

 In this workshop, you’ll learn to work hard and approach poses that challenge you from a relaxed state. You’ll move to your edge—and beyond— with greater poise, awareness, and attention to detail. In so doing, you will maximize your energy and create greater steadiness and ease in all of your postures.

 

This practice will present a harmonious variety of postures including standing poses, backbends, inversions, twists, arm-balances, core-strengtheners, and seated meditation. Although you will have the pleasure of experiencing several challenging poses such as drop-back backbends, splits, lotus, handstand and inversion variations, no one should be intimidated. Students with less experience will always be given modifications. In addition, students will learn how to demystify challenging poses, so that every posture can be analyzed and understood.
