Anat Zahor



Anat is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher and a Meditation and Dharma instructor.She is the founder of Yoga Studio – Yoga Dharma School, and cofounder of Lotus – Local Yoga Place, both in Tel-Aviv, Israel. Anat has been practicing Yoga since 1987, her interest broadened into Tai Chi-Chuan, Chi Kung, Taoism and Buddhist studies. For many years now Buddhism is the basis of her life view. In 1996 she focused her Yoga practice on the system developed by B. K. S. Iyengar, which she adopted as her personal Yoga style, and in 2000 she was  first accredited as a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher and since 2002 she regularly visits the RIYMI center in Pune, India, to study with the Iyengar family. Anat also teaches Vipassana Meditation and gives Dhamma talks on Buddhism and meditation. She is the Director of the Yoga Dharma teachers' training course, in collaboration with the Tel-Aviv University. She is the co-author of the book "A Guide for Healthy Life", published in Israel.Anat emphasizes her teachings on mindfulness, concentration, accuracy, precision, and understanding within body and mind.
